To be fair, Jon Stewart is being a little silly in his comments, though. Of course, someone can both:
1) Be for a strict enforcement of the Constitution; but
2) Think it should be amended.

  1. He probably meant "framers." This looks like a simple slip of the tongue; I think we've all been there.

  2. I don't know if you're joking or not, but when I look up "framers" it means the same thing as "founders":

    '"The 55 men at the convention are called the "Founding Fathers" of the USA, and are also known as the "Framers of the Constitution."'
